Secret things...

Working on some art I can't talk about just yet:

adventures

“Adventures of the Floating Elephant” returns.
A little different this time. I feel the story is better served if I post 4-5 pages once a month rather than ONE page a week. Thus, the opening to Chapter three is 6 pages:

There are a couple of changes back in the first 5 pages of if any want to take a look, or read from the start:

Also a few alterations in the last 3 pages of Chapter 2 if you want to remind yourself what happened so many months ago:

Thanks!
And sorry for the long wait.

My one page deadpool

Deadpool 1000 hits the stands today.
I did a very very short story in it...

Next Monday August 9th “Adventures of the Floating Elephant”
returns to activatecomix.com with Chapter Three!
So um…clear your Calendar for that day and stuff.

working

In the midst of moving, I'm trying
to get "Adventures of Floating Elephant" going again.
Soon...

Deadpool

That mystery art in my last post was in fact from a Deadpool story I did for Deadpool 1000. Axel talks about it here so I guess it's not a secret anymore:

Marvel Comics

Working on something for Marvel.
Secret for now...

Al Williamson

Just a brief note to acknowledge the passing of Al Williamson a few weeks back.
I met him only once and bought the compellation he had of his "Secret Agent"
newspaper strip he had worked on with Archie Goodwin.

He was a genuinely nice guy to talk to and at one point simply told me that I
was a “pretty good” artist and shouldn't give it up. Who can argue with Al Williamson!?
Below is a page from his “Corrigan” collection that he signed for me that day.

Thanks Al!

I guess these are less Metropolitan Museum comics and more…sketches.
Mostly the African section.

Hospital room comics # 3

I have one more “hospital comic.”
While waiting for my Mom to recover from her surgery, (everything went fine) I drew this comic in her room just as you see it.
